This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to paid digital interview preparation services purchased through GenioPrep.
1. Nature of Service
GenioPrep provides digital AI mock interview preparation services. Since the service is delivered digitally through interview links, web pages, email, AI audio/video systems, downloadable reports, or similar online methods, no physical goods are shipped.
2. Cancellations
A user may request cancellation of a paid interview before starting or using the paid interview link. Cancellation requests should be sent to support@thegenioprep.com using the same email address used for purchase.
- If the paid interview has not started and the request is made before the link is used, GenioPrep may approve cancellation and initiate a refund.
- If the paid interview has already started, been completed, or attempts have been consumed, cancellation will generally not be available.
- If the link expires because the user did not use it within the permitted time, cancellation or refund may not be available unless GenioPrep decides otherwise on a case-by-case basis.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment for the same service.
- Payment was successful, but the paid interview link or access was not delivered due to a GenioPrep technical issue.
- The user could not access the paid interview due to a confirmed GenioPrep platform issue and the issue could not be resolved within a reasonable time.
- GenioPrep is unable to provide the paid service after accepting payment.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following cases:
- The user completes or substantially uses the paid interview session.
- The user shares the interview link with another person and attempts are consumed.
- The user faces issues caused by poor internet connection, unsupported browser, microphone permission denial, device limitations, or other user-side technical issues.
- The user is dissatisfied with interview performance, scores, AI feedback, or preparation outcome, unless there is a clear technical failure from GenioPrep.
- The user does not receive a job offer, interview call, or hiring outcome after using GenioPrep.
- The free mock interview is used; free services are not eligible for monetary refunds.
5. Retry or Credit Before Refund
Where practical, GenioPrep may first offer a retry, replacement interview link, service credit, or alternate delivery before approving a refund. This helps resolve technical issues without loss to the user.
6. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 5-7 business days after approval. The time taken for the amount to reflect in the user's account may depend on the payment method, bank, card network, or payment gateway.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request cancellation or refund, email support@thegenioprep.com with:
- Name used during purchase.
- Email address used during purchase.
- Payment date and amount.
- Razorpay payment ID or payment reference, if available.
- Reason for cancellation/refund request.
8. Changes to This Policy
GenioPrep may update this Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available on the website.
